Let me touch on CHUCK’s genetic color results in case you are unfamiliar with the symbols. CHUCK is homozygous for roan, will always pass one of his roan genes, you will always get a roal foal! CHUCK is homozygous for black, even when bred to a red based mare he will override her red gene every time, never producing a red based offspring. CHUCK has one dun gene, so 50% of the time his offspring will get his dun factor. CHUCK carries one cream gene, will throw it 50% of the time. CHUCK expresses one seal brown agouti gene like his sire (not the bay agouti), he will pass this 50% of the time. What does all this mean, CHUCK is the holy grail in producing color every single time no matter what color mare you breed him to. Being homozygous for roan is a color jackpot/winning the lotto type deal, very rare and highly desired (icing on the cake), then you get the dun and the cream to boot! Having a stallion that proves himself and is capable of always throwing color will improve your chances of selling his babies.

NOLA looks just like her dam, HEIDI in every aspect except color. TENN, my daughter-in-law has been working her when time allows teaching her respect and control from the ground through several techniques we like to us. I do not recommend NOLA for beginners, she needs a confident leader with natural horsemanship skills. Once she bonds with you, you will have one heck of a loyal horse on your hands. VANNAH is open for 2024, not her fault! It ran late in the season and the decision was made to not risk a late summer foal. VANNAH is broodmare sound only, she has ringbone in front right. I barely ever see her off, but when she is it can be easily maintained by keeping clean and occassional supplements. VANNAH gets along great with other mares and is a wonderful mother. We have only ever AI’d her. She does just fine in the chutes. The only reason we are offering her, is needing to make room for a 2nd jr stallion prospect. If we had gotten VANNAH back in foal, she would not be offered! VANNAH has a filly by her side now, you can see BERETTA by scrolling up. We purchased ROSIE around Christmas of 2022 soley with the intentions of getting her in foal to our stallion and offering her. R3 has done this before and it was a pleasurable experience. Getting one in foal can be hard, so us doing all the foot work, can be very appealing to someone!

Due to several factors, we ended up going with an outside stallion, KTSTYLINBLUVALENTINE aka BRUTUS (photo in album). R3 has also bred a couple R3 mares to him hoping to get a daughter we can hold back.

Rosie is somewhat broke to ride, she has time under saddle, its been a long time ago. Rosie has raised two other foals. Our intentions were not to ride her, so under saddle time was a bonus but not to have had extensive training was not a issue.

We have found her to be a very sweet, a easy to handle mare with a soft eye and extremely smart. She is easy to handle in the chute, she does wonderful with the other mares foals out in the pasture. We were told she is a great mother and easy to be around with new foal by her side. If I had not partnered up with two others to acquire her, I would have loved to added her to our program. But, having to stick to our business plan. 😭 I need water at the property, tired of hauling it in everyday for the last 10yrs. I am hoping this is the year to have a well drilled! That has been my business plan, so moving forward.
